BAMBANG, Nueva Vizcaya, April 2 (PIA) — The local government unit here in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will be building at least 15 housing units for the poor.
Mayor Flaviano Balgos said the municipality will be funding the construction of the housing units at P70,000 each in barangay San Antonio North here this year to provide safe secure and comfortable abode for the poor.

“The lot has already been donated for this housing project and we are very grateful to the donors because it will help us in addressing poverty in our municipality,” Balgos said.

He said their Local Poverty Reduction Action Team (LPRAT) are also preparing other components of the housing project that will enhance the livelihood of the recipients.

Livelihood projects, Balgos added will also be studied and crafted in collaboration with national government agencies such as the Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture and DSWD.
