The Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) approved its monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plan for 2026 during its 4th Quarter Regular Business Meeting on 3 December 2025 in Sta. Ana, Cagayan.

The CY 2026 M&E Plan presents the programs and projects for priority monitoring, which include the infrastructure flagship projects in the region and those funded under Official Development Assistance, public-private partnership, and locally-generated funds approved by the Investment Coordination Committee of the Economy and Development Council.

During the discussion, the results of the field monitoring visits were also presented. The Committee recommended actions to address the issues raised. The recommendations will be communicated to the concerned implementing agencies for appropriate action.

The Committee also welcomed its new private sector representative (PSR) members: Mr. Francis D. Nitura and Ms. Marilyn DC Santiago, completing the three PSR seats in the RPMC.

Also tackled during the meeting was DILG’s Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) Program. The TPM highlights the role of the civil society organization in providing independent assessments of programs and projects implemented by the DILG to enhance performance in program and project management.

The meeting was presided over by DEPDev Regional Director Dionisio C. Ledres, Jr. It was attended by DBM Acting Regional Director Jose Pamittan, RDC PSR Atty. Robin James Gunnacao, and a representative from the DILG.
