ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, Jan 21 (PIA) – The Isabela Police Provincial office (IPPO) has put up its own operation center to monitor the election activities in the province.
Senior Superintendent Franklin Moises Mabanag, IPPO chief said the provincial election monitoring and action center (PMAC) was formed exclusively to monitor all election-related activities in the province which will serve as the center that records election events and other concerns relating to elections in Isabela.
Mabanag said the IPPO’s formed PMAC will monitor and record election-related events that will be submitted to the Provincial Joint Security Control Center (PSJCC) for immediate action.
The IPPO chief said the PMAC objectives are collection of election-related data, implement election laws to ensure a Secured and Fair Elections (SAFE) and gives updates to PSJCC.
Meanwhile, the IPPO is strictly enforcing the establishment of checkpoints in all police stations in Isabela in implementing the total gun ban.
The estabishement of checkpoint started last January 13, 2013 aims to implement the gun ban to meet the poll body’s peaceful and orderly elections.
The IPPO also is conducting “Oplan Katok” or police is going around and knock at the doors at the houses of persons with expired license firearms and reminding them to renew their firearms.
