CABARROGUIS, Quirino, May 5 (PIA) — After the successful conduct of Diskwento Fair at Diffun town last year, the Department of Trade and Industry-Quirino Provincial Office will duplicate said activity this time at the Provincial Capitol Grounds here on May 15-16, 2013.

Dubbed “Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan, the activity aims to help parents save money by making discounted products accessible to them.

Susan Janer, senior trade and industry specialist said 21 entrepreneurs have confirmed their participation in the Diskwento Fair and they will be offering 10 per cent discounts in items such as foods, school supplies, uniforms, bags, shoes and other basic commodities.

Among the business establishments are Marikina Shoe Exchange, Dmaya, Grupo Marilen Inc., Laicom, U-Profit, Isabela Prime Distributor, SNJ Marketing, Bernabe Orchids, Morales Garden, Harrison Pasalubong, Quirino Shoes, Q-Life, Vita’s Toys. Aguinao Dry Goods, Bucahe Dry Goods, Hadji General Merchandise, Janelyn Vegetables, Masredeca, NF de Guzman General Merchandise, K-Servico and SMEs of Quirino.

“We are inviting everyone to avail of the low prices to be offered by our partner entrepreneurs,” Janer said.

The Diskwento Caravan in Cabarroguis will be spearheaded by DTI in cooperation with the provincial government of Quirino.
