TUGUEGARAO CITY, May 8 (PIA) – With almost a year of pilot testing, the ‘On-Line-Application System’ of applicants for board examinations at the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) was proven to be effective in fastracking the applications of examinees.
Arnel M. Melad, professional regulations officer III, said the online system has lots of benefits not only to the examinees but also to the agency to include the decongestion of the regional office as the examinees need not to flock at the office to file their application.
He also stated that it is also beneficial to their clients as they save time and money in transacting with the regional office.
“The system is very accurate because all data that are needed to be processed for the application are already integrated in it. The applicants will just go our regional office when they are already notified to pay the necessary fees and submit hard copy of needed documents,” Melad elaborated.
He further stated that in a year of the system’s implementation, no major problem was encountered by the clients; hence, he concluded that the system is efficient and effective in the delivery of service to the public.
Melad also informed the public that each applicant should pay P900 pesos for bachelor’s degree holders while P600 for non-baccalaureate.
For those who passed the examinations, each should also go on-line to register before they will be able to receive their licenses.
Through the on-line system, Melad added, issuance of professional ID cards of each passer can already be done during the oath taking ceremonies; unlike before that the registered passers will wait for how many months to receive their ID cards.
