The Regional Development Council 2 lauded the leadership of RPOC Chair and Quirino Governor Junie E. Cua Friday morning in due recognition of his unwavering commitment and support, as well as his active involvement in all RDC 2 undertakings in the term 2010-2013.
He was awarded with a certificate of recognition for steering proactive participation of RDC 2 members in providing effective and responsive solutions, programs and activities and intensive discussions of the regional agenda, making the RDC 2 as one of the most active RDCs in the country.
RDC 2 Acting Vice-Chair and NEDA 2 OIC-Regional Director expressed her gratitude in the leadership and guidance of Gov. Cua in the last three years. “While the President has not appointed an RDC 2 Chair and Co-Chair, Governor Cua’s guidance as RPOC Chair and recognized Joint RDC-RPOC Meeting presiding officer, together with the commitment of the members, enabled the Council to attain its chartered targets for the term and respond to and act on various urgent regional concerns,” said OIC-Regional Director Darauay.
Over the last two years, the RDC 2 jointly conducted its meetings with the RPOC 2 for a more responsive and purposeful deliberation of regional development initiatives.
