The Department of Public Works and Highways – Isabela First District Engineering Office (DPWH-IFDEO) has completed the concreting of Lullutan-Cabanungan First Road.

The road is part of the Lullutan-Gamu Provincial Road. The project spans a total of 1, 683 lineal meters of Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) with a width of 6.7m and thickness of 0.280m.

According to District Engineer Evelyn C. Costales, the concreting of Lallutan-Cabanungan Road will provide an easier access and comfort to the motorist and residents since the road section is a gateway to the western barangays in the municipality of Gamu.

The newly-upgraded gravel to concrete road will improve transport mobility of residents to move agricultural produce and other products to any between outlying barangays, municipalities and cities.

With a fund amounting to P15, 985, 133.90 million pesos, the project started on March 27, 2017 and was completed within three months.
