AMBAGUIO, Nueva Vizcaya, February 22(PIA) – A P4.5 million Philippine National Police(PNP) building has been formally inaugurated by police and local government officials here yesterday.

The building will serve as a comfortable center and office for the town’s policemen and villagers as they work together in ensuring a peaceful and orderly situation of the municipality, said mayor Moises Amokla.

“It has been our dream to have one like this in the past and now it was realized. Let us all help in maintaining and protecting this building since it is our property,” Amokla said.

Police Senior Supt. Valfrie Tabian, police provincial director said P1 million and the lot served as counterpart of the LGU while the rest of the fund was shouldered by the PNP.

“The construction of PNP buildings is one of the thrusts of our national headquarters which require counterparts from concerned LGUs,” Tabian said.

At present, he said there are still seven municipalities in the province who have no PNP building while a new building for the LGU of Dupax del Norte is upcoming this year.
