TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, March 15 (PIA) – The Philippine Postal Corporation (PhilPost) Northeast Luzon area has hailed Ballesteros Post Office (PO) in Cagayan as the “Most Client-Friendly Post Office” in the area in a fitting ceremony held on February 20, 2013.

Participated by all PO of Northeast Luzon Area that included the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Aurora, and all provinces of Region 02 except Batanes, the winning PO garnered 3,034 votes from the mailing public, followed by two other POs of Cagayan namely Abulug with 2,772 and Sanchez Mira 1,827 votes.

Meanwhile, the national courier launched its “Unaddressed Advertising Mail Service (UAMS)” which encourages businessmen and candidates running for national and local positions in the May 2013 elections, to send their flyers, posters and other business/ election paraphernalia thru door-to-door delivery by its experienced letter carriers at a very minimal cost.

Director Oscar V. Lazo, Jr. of Philpost said interested postal patrons are advised to visit the PO nearest them to avail of promo until May 31, 2013.
