ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, April 4 (PIA) — Isabela electric Cooperative II has assured its member-consumers of enough power supply despite the reduced water elevation of Magat dam due to absence of rain.

The Magat dam reservoir is one of the power sources operated by SN Aboitiz Power that supplies the power supply in Luzon grid.

ISELCO II manager David Solomon Siquian said SN Aboitiz Power has assured enough supply of electricity to its distribution utilities like ISELCO II.

Siquian said the ISELCO II management is also conducting regular inspections to its transmission line facilities to ensure that no illegal connections are tapped which is one of the causes of power shortage and even losses on the part of the electric coop.

He said the operations of ISELCO II is at its normal level and assured its consumers of continuous delivery of power this summer.

Meanwhile, ISELCO II expects to energize all remote village sitios in the towns of San Mariano and Benito Soliven, Isabela.

“We are targeting to energize the remote village sitios in the service areas of ISELCO II particularly in the towns of San Mariano and Benito Soliven until the end of this year,” Siquian said.

Siquain also warned supporters of electorial candidates not to post campaign materials on electric posts in its area of operations as these are not identified by Comelec as common poster areas.

He said he has instructed their field personnel to remove any campaign materials that are displayed and posted on electric posts.
