ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, April 10 (PIA) — The newly-installed Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) chief expressed his desire to deliver the highest police service to Isabelinos upon his assumption as head of the Isabela police force on Monday, April 8.

Police Senior Superintendent Sotero G. Ramos Jr., who assumed the post as Officer-in-Charge of IPPO, said that the people of Isabela deserve to be served well especially in maintaining the peace and order of the province.

Ramos replaced outgoing IPPO chief Senior Superintendent Franklin Moises Mabanag, who is now assigned at Police Regional Office 2 as Chief of Staff of PRO2 Director Chief Superintendent Rodrigo de Gracia.

Ramos said that he is overwhelmed with the warm welcome of the Isabela police force during the turn-over rites held on Monday at the Isabela Police Camp.

Police personnel from the IPPO and the chiefs of police in the province were present during the turn over ceremony led by Police Regional Office 2 Director Chief Superintendent Rodrigo de Gracia.

Ramos said during the turn over rites that he will try his best to meet the expectations of Isabelinos to whom he is going to serve and adhere to President Benigno S. Aquino III’s “tuwid na daan.”

Ramos is a native of Tarlac and a Philippine Military Academy batch 1990 graduate and has been former Marikina police chief and later assigned at Camp Crame holding various positions before he was designated as IPPO chief last Monday.

Meanwhile, outgoing IPPO chief Franklin Moises Mabanag urged his predecessor to continue the reforms and programs he has started during his more than one year as IPPO chief.
