CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela, Jan 3 (PIA) — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Cauayan City has recorded no fire incidents in the city during the holiday celebrations due to the agency’s relentless campaign on fire prevention.
Cauayan City Fire Marshal Michael Castillo said the BFP has conducted information campaign on fire prevention in schools, barangays, and government offices that resulted to zero-fire incident in the city before and during the holiday celebrations.
The BFP – Cauayan City conducted intensive information campaign through symposia in schools and government offices including business establishments.
Castillo said that while monitoring of welcoming the new year, there were no reported fire incident and the agency chief is hopeful that the public remain vigilant to prevent fire incidents in the city.
He urged residents to report immediately fire incidents not only during the holiday season but the whole year round so that the BFP can immediately respond.
This year, Castillo said, the agency will continue its information and education campaign to avert the occurrence of fire incidents to save lives and properties. (PIA 2, Isabela)
